44.13 – Triple Stroke Roll
Where would we be in a world without 3’s? (a.k.a. triple stroke roll). Probably in a place of great sadness and frustration because we couldn’t play jazzy up-tempo ride cymbal patterns articulately or short bursts of singles due to a lack of finger control. That’s right, every drummer needs triple stroke control. Here we go the distance playing them as sextuplets, it’s not easy as the tempo picks up but your fingers will figure it out with thousands of reps. Go.
